Jamie was a great dad today and took a half day off to take the girls skiing...they were so excited. They went with a neighbor and his two kids so they were excited to ski with friends! This was only Kelsey's second time and Jamie said that after a few reminder lessons she was doing great!
They got a late start so they ended up buying a twilight pass which meant they could ski until 9! But of course they were quite cold so they ended it much earlier, even though they were begging to do more! They were both running down the blue slopes most of the day...pretty impressive! Now that Kelsey is more efficient Jamie will tackle teaching Kaden who is determined to learn how to snowboard...we'll see how that goes!!!
We are so lucky to have a multitude of high quality ski resorts right in our vicinity so I am grateful the kids are learning while they are young and picking up a fun hobby that they can do for the rest of their lives...hey, at Brighton if you are over 70 it only costs 10 dollars each time to ski, we'll have to remember that later in life. The pictures were taken with Jamie's camera phone so they aren't the greatest quality...but fun nonetheless!!!
